Services
Use Services to scan system health, compare active services, and decide where an investigation should start.
Overview
Use Services as the triage table for the whole application. It answers which services are active, which ones changed, and which service deserves a deeper inspection first.
Use this page after you know the approximate symptom and need to decide which evidence should come next. Keep the service, environment, and time range consistent as you move from summary pages to request-level detail.
How to read this page
Treat health cards and service rows as prioritization, not final proof. Use the current time range and environment filters before comparing services. Open a service when one row has a clear regression or a dependency path needs inspection.
- Health trend
- Latency, error, and traffic changes show which service moved during the selected window.
- Relative impact
- A service with low traffic and one error is different from a high-traffic service with a sustained failure rate.
- Next click
- The best row to open is the one where service ownership and user impact are both plausible.
Investigation workflow
Use this sequence when you need to move from a broad symptom to evidence you can share with another teammate.
- 1
Set the production environment and the incident time range.
- 2
Find the service with both elevated errors and meaningful request volume.
- 3
Open service detail, then inspect endpoints or dependencies depending on where the signal points.
Interpretation note
Do not sort by one metric and ignore volume. Do not compare production and preview services as if they share the same traffic pattern. Do not assume the service with the symptom is the root cause before checking dependencies.
